UI Improvement & Animations // Skill System Rework


Hiii everyone, I am here for a small update on what has been going on since last week,

First of all, all this content is not updated live yet, only a work in progress ! I hope to be done with all that within 2 weeks !

I had some (small) data loss due to a weird manipulation error I made, but the most important stuff was saved (I am actually very happy it happened now and not later, taught me the hard way to make more than 2 backups, on different devices)...

Now for the new stuff :

- Currently on the test version, players choose their skills, that all have a min rate and max rate, and set the rates as they wish. It actually felt much less intuitive than I thought so I came up with another idea that feels much better : each 4 slots are made for 4 different skill qualities :
1- A filler skill, that takes all remaining %,

2- A rare skill, bit more powerful than a filler, can have side effects, fixed rate. (15/30%)

3- An epic skill, bit more than previous one, with stun / buffs...(10/20%)

4- A legendary / Ultimate skill, an unique skill with very low rate (5/10%).

Legendary Skills rate will increase after each turn without cast, (based on previously used skill // based on the skill tree talents of the monster, skill trees are a work in progress) so 5% rate doesn't mean it will almost never be used, rather that it has a low rate to be used early, then increases over time (after use, reset to base rate, or higher based on skill tree)

- The other new stuff, pretty nice actually, I started adding it on the UI I am currently reworking, I found a very nice way to animate sprite outlines, which is pretty nice for the monster art ! Here is an example of how the monster looks in the UI. In the battle scene, monsters will have similar auras based on their element // if they are enemies // if they have very high GP values,

Side note : On the current test version, the stun skill is bugged, it will be corrected in the next version =)
